Liberty reserve has been closed down and the owner has been arrested. A lot of people lost their money. I personally lost $1200 which is not even close to the big amount other people lost. We are Hoping the website will be working again soon. Costa Rica prosecutor José Pablo González said Budovsky, a Costa Rican citizen of Ukrainian origin, has been under investigation since 2011 for money laundering using a company he created in the country called Liberty Reserve. Budovsky's businesses in Costa Rica apparently were financed by using money from child Indecency websites and drug trafficking.
